Start with a Goal

If you’re ever to make any progress you must first start with a goal. It doesn’t have to be anything major. In fact, I recommend you choose one small change to make in your life and soon it will be easier to make more. Often in the new year, we try to change everything at once. Then we become exhausted, frustrated, and sink back into our comfy old habits.

So pick one thing to focus on for the new year and then pick the next goal the following month. By year’s end, you’ll have made 12 life-changing decisions to reach your happiness. For me, this year’s major goal is to find our forever home. It’s a huge goal that can be broken down into smaller, more manageable bites.

Since money is the primary factor to reach my goal, I’m starting with increasing my income as a writer. My first step involved searching the latest projects available on UpWork where I found a nugget of good fortune. An opportunity to build a community of writers and get a few bucks in the process has already led to growth. From that small effort, I gained insight on blogging and a nudge in the right direction to create this site.
